Thursday, October 28 at 8pm (Grand Theatre)
John Lithgow’s “Stories by Heart,” is a tribute piece to his parents and grandmother. It’s a hilarious 45-minute tour de force, which first opened at the Lincoln Theater in New York. Born in 1882, John’s grandmother, Ida B. Lithgow, would recite poems and stories to the attentive 7-year-old and not only did the stories stick with him, they are brought back to life when the actor is dealing with his father’s illness. Mr. Lithgow delivers an effortless performance and we are caught in his wonderful spell. Don’t miss his one man show, Thursday, Oct. 28 at 8pm in the Grand Theatre.
