to Benefit Make It Right Foundation

Reno, Nev. – Grand Sierra Resort and Casino has contributed $5,000 to the Make it Right foundation and presented a check to Ms. Planet Beach International representatives on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The seventh annual Ms. Planet Beach International Spokesmodel Search was Wednesday, Oct. 21 at Grand Sierra. The annual, international spokesmodel search provides unique opportunities for women (ages 18-34) exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for personal self-improvement. Women from across the globe compete to work alongside the Planet Beach® team on promotions and marketing projects, as well as compete for the title of Ms. Planet Beach® International 2010.
The Ms. Planet Beach® International Spokesmodel Search serves as one of many Planet Beach®‘s charitable endeavors. Regional winners will be featured on www.planetbeach.com, and have the opportunity to garner online votes towards the ‘People’s Choice’ award. Proceeds from the event support Make it Right, a campaign founded by Brad Pitt, focusing on rebuilding sustainable and affordable ‘green’ homes in the Katrina devastated Ninth Ward area of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Elizabeth Rizo from Lake of the Ozarks, Mo, was the 2010 title winner, who will receive a $100,000 modeling contract, the cover of the 2010 Ms. Planet Beach® International calendar, a $30,000 franchise license to open her own Contempo Spa®, a custom diamond pendant, and other various prizes and travel opportunities.
