The Brian Setzer Orchestra (BSO) Rockin' Christmas will shake, rattle, and roll Grand Sierra Resort’s Grand Theatre on Friday, December 23, 2016, 8 p.m. This ramped-up musical holiday spectacular is guaranteed to fire up a little holiday spirit.

A Rockin’ Christmas, presented by Sirius XM, has become a holiday tradition. Iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and three-time Grammy-Award winner Brian Setzer and his 18-piece orchestra electrify audiences with a huge dose of retro holiday cheer. Their annual Rockin’ Christmas Tour features music from their latest Christmas album, “Rockin’ Rudolph,” along with their three other best-selling holiday albums and a few original Brian Setzer hits.

Setzer’s fresh take on holiday classics exemplifies his innovative and daring musical style. Often described as a “Musician’s Musician,” experts credit him as resurrecting two forgotten genres of music--rockabilly in the ’80’s and swing in the ’90’s. His path to the top is paved with chart-topping hits and 13 million record sales. Setzer received the Orville H. Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award as founder/leader of the Stray Cats, the Brian Setzer Orchestra, and as a solo artist.

Music aficionados cite Setzer as one of the world’s greatest living guitarists. Both an elite model and a best-selling line of Gretsch signature model guitars bear his name.

Ramp up your holiday cheer with the Brian Setzer Orchestra’s 13th Annual Rockin’ Christmas. Unforgettable on GSR’s Grand Stage for just one performance on Friday, December 23. Delight everyone on your list with tickets to this snazzy holiday classic. Call our Box Office between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. at 775-789-1115 to reserve your tickets.
