Grand Sierra Resort and Casino to celebrate Good Friday and Easter Sunday with special holiday menus

RENO, Nev. (April 11, 2022) – This Easter, hop over to Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR), where guests can enjoy special holiday menus at Charlie Palmer Steak and The Grand Buffet. Special menus will be available for both Good Friday on April 15 and Easter Sunday on April 17. Guests are encouraged to make advance reservations at GrandSierraResort.com/RestaurantRow.

Charlie Palmer Steak

Put a spring in your step this Easter with a special menu at Charlie Palmer Steak. Good Friday specials include flame-charred hamachi with yuzu bone broth, mirin poached Asian pear and black garlic pureé for $23; steakhouse crab cakes with fennel-arugula salad, crisp capers and citrus aioli for $27; and seafood cioppino loaded with mussels, clams, scallops and halibut in a spiced tomato broth with grilled focaccia for $41. This special menu is available on Friday, April 15 from 5 to 10 p.m.

For the Easter Sunday menu, guests can start the meal with a choice of steakhouse crab cakes with fennel-arugula salad, crisp capers and citrus aioli ($27) or spring pea risotto with sunny side quail egg, English peas and Parmigiano-Reggiano ($21). Enjoy a 16oz steakhouse smoked ham steak with pommes anna, grilled pineapple and brown sugar gastrique ($53) or savor white wine poached salmon served with sauteed baby artichokes, Dorati tomato and morels with a dill emulsion ($44). Sweeten the meal with a carrot cake cheesecake made with brown butter carrot cake, carrot caramel and braised vanilla pineapple served with cinnamon sour cream ice cream ($14). Charlie Palmer Steak will serve this á la carte menu on Sunday, April 17 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Grand Buffet

Seafood lovers won’t want to miss the Good Friday Seafood Buffet at The Grand Buffet. Selections include Dungeness crab, red crab, mussels, oysters on half shell, peel-and-eat shrimp, ceviche, shrimp scampi, shrimp a la diablo tacos, clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls, carved roasted salmon with lemon beurre blanc, linguine and clams in white wine sauce, stuffed snapper with lobster sauce, oysters Rockefeller and more. Guests can enjoy the Good Friday Seafood Buffet from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 15 for $58.99 per adult and $28.99 per child.

Enjoy an egg-stravagant meal at The Grand Buffet for brunch and dinner. Selections include pineapple glazed ham, herb-crusted prime rib, Easter garden soup, potato au gratin, braised pork osso buco, Easter-themed desserts, a made-to-order crepe station with assorted toppings and more. Plus, enjoy buffet favorites like the Carving Station, Hotline Americana, Asian Wok Station, Pho Soup Station, Italian, Taco Bar, Chinese, Pizza Oven, Salad Station and more. Guests can enjoy the Easter Buffet at The Grand Buffet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 17 for $54.99 per adult and $28.99 per child.
