Since 1974, Cheap Trick has delighted generations of fans with their instantly recognizable blend of pop, hard rock and melodic hooks. The group pioneered the landscape of power-pop with an unparalleled streak of classic tunes, including “California Man,” “Dream Police,” “Surrender” and "I Want You To Want Me.” Cheap Trick’s 1977 self-titled debut album helped define their sound, but it was “In Color” (1977) that solidified their status as one of rock music’s most promising acts. In 2012, the record was ranked No. 443 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
In 1978, Cheap Trick released the seminal album "Heaven Tonight," which included their signature song "Surrender" and showcased their ability to craft anthemic hooks and harmonies. The band's live album, "Cheap Trick at Budokan” (1979), catapulted them to international fame, thanks to the success of the live version of "I Want You to Want Me" and their electrifying stage presence. Throughout their career, Cheap Trick has released numerous hit singles, including “Dream Police,” “If You Want My Love” and “The Flame,” which became their first No. 1 hit single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1988.
Their ability to consistently deliver memorable music earned them a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, honoring their impressive body of work and cementing their legacy. Having released 20 albums over four decades, including “In Another World” in 2021, Cheap Trick shows no signs of slowing down. Whether performing classic fan favorites or newer tracks, Cheap Trick’s live shows deliver the kind of unapologetic, joy-fueled rock ‘n’ roll that keeps audiences on their feet from the first chord to the final encore. Doors open at 7 p.m.
