RENO, Nev. (March 10, 2026) – Indie rock band Big Thief will bring their “Somersault Slide 360 Tour” to the Grand Theatre at Grand Sierra Resort on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening of expansive soundscapes and intimate songwriting.
Tickets for Big Thief at GSR go on sale Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. PT starting at $44.50, plus taxes and fees. Formed in Brooklyn in 2015, Big Thief has become one of the most critically acclaimed bands of this generation. The group first garnered widespread attention with their debut album, “Masterpiece,” followed by the emotionally resonant “Capacity.” Both albums received critical acclaim with critics and fans alike praising the group for their poetic lyricism and dynamic arrangements.
In 2019, the band released the Grammy-nominated “U.F.O.F.” and quickly followed up with “Two Hands” just five months later. Considered to be companion works, both albums ended on multiple year-end accolades, cementing their reputation for pushing the boundaries of contemporary indie rock.
