Queensrÿche rose to prominence as pioneers of progressive metal, blending complex arrangements with socially conscious lyrics and cinematic storytelling. Audiences got their first taste of the group with their self-titled EP before releasing their first album “The Warning” in 1984. The band broke through with their 1988 concept album “Operation: Mindcrime,” widely regarded as one of the greatest concept albums in rock music, featuring standout tracks such as “Eyes of a Stranger” and “I Don’t Believe in Love.”
They continued their success with 1990’s “Empire,” which achieved triple-platinum status and produced the chart-topping ballad “Silent Lucidity,” earning the band Grammy nominations and global recognition. Queensrÿche has gone on to release 16 studio albums and have sold over 20 million records worldwide, proving their resonance with fans and critics alike. Their live performances, known for their technical precision, continue to captivate audiences with an extensive catalog of hits, combined with storytelling and powerful stage presence that has defined the band for decades.
Joining them is Slaughter, the Las Vegas-based hard rock band that helped define the glam metal era of the early 1990s. Founded by vocalist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum, the band exploded onto the scene with their 1990 debut album “Stick It to Ya,” which went double platinum and featured hit singles “Up All Night,” “Fly to the Angels” and “Mad About You.” To date, Slaughter has released five studio albums, two live albums and one compilation album. Their live performances are known for their high-energy and infectious hooks, earning a loyal fan base and sharing stages with some of the biggest names in rock. Doors open at 7 p.m.
