RENO, Nev. (September 28, 2026) – Comedian, actor and writer Tom Segura will bring his all-new “Preposterous” stand-up tour to Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) on Saturday, May 29, 2027, at 8 p.m. at the Grand Theatre. The Reno date is part of the first leg of Segura’s newly announced 2027 tour.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. PT and start at $79.50, plus taxes and fees. Tom Segura has become one of the most recognizable names in stand-up through his observational humor, storytelling and candid takes on everyday life. His new “Preposterous” tour follows the 2024-25 “Come Together” global tour and his “I’m Coming Everywhere” World Tour, which included more than 300 performances around the world.
Segura has released six Netflix comedy specials, most recently “Teacher,” which debuted in December 2025. His previous specials include “Sledgehammer,” “Ball Hog,” “Disgraceful,” “Mostly Stories” and “Completely Normal.” He also created, wrote, directed and produced the Netflix dark comedy series “Bad Thoughts,” earning a 2025 Emmy nomination for his performance. The series received an additional Emmy nomination in 2026, and its second season premiered that spring.
Beyond stand-up, Segura is the founder of Your Mom’s House Studios, the podcast network behind “Your Mom’s House,” which he co-hosts with Christina P, and “2 Bears 1 Cave” with Bert Kreischer. He is also the author of the New York Times bestseller “I’d Like to Play Alone, Please” and continues to work across television and film.
