Grand Bad Beat

WHAT:

With Aces full of Jacks beat by anything, the Grand Sierra Poker Room’s Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot is the easiest in town! With a payout of at least $1,000 that increases daily, even when you lose, you win. When hit, 60% of the jackpot is awarded to the player with the qualifying losing hand, 20% to the player with the winning hand, and the remaining 20% is split across all the remaining players at the table. Missed the hit? Don’t worry, the Bad Beat Reserve means that you’ll never miss out on the action!

QUALIFYING:

Cash game players only. Must be dealt in, cannot have a missed blind.

Hold’em/Stud

Lose with Aces full of jacks or better.Both cards must play for both the losing hand and the winning hand.$20 in the main pot.4 players in the main pot.Players with a missed blind button, or that were not dealt in do not qualify to receive any part of the progressive payout.

Pineapple

Omaha

BigO/5 card Omaha

RULES:

  1. The hand must be the player’s best possible combination of 5 cards.
  2. Both hands must include both of the players’ hole cards. In the event that a player’s kicker pairs the board, their card will still play.
    1. Example: Board AAAK9 Player 1 AK Player 2 QQ – eligible
      AAAK9 Player 1 AQ Player 2 QQ – ineligible
  3. Should there be three qualifying hands, the lowest ranking hand will only receive the due payout for Room Share split rate or percentage.
  4. If inspection of the deck fails, the hand will not qualify.
  5. In the rare case that the GBB is hit simultaneously on two or more tables, the qualifying hands will split the Jackpot.
  6. Any player exposing his or her cards before action is complete will disqualify any Jackpot.
  7. GSR Management will not attempt to recreate hands in any way.
  8. If there is evidence of collusion, the hand will be disqualified. Collusion includes, but is not limited to, any type of communication amongst players indicating the possession of a jackpot hand or a draw to a jackpot hand.
  9. GBB Jackpot will remain pending until paid. Should the Jackpot be hit again before it is paid, the second Jackpot will be eligible for the reset amount. Should the initial jackpot be disqualified for any reason, the second jackpot will be entitled to the Main Jackpot amount once verification is complete.
  10. Jackpot prizes are non-transferable.
  11. Players must have a valid ID and social security number to collect their winnings.
  12. GSR Team Members are eligible to participate. When not on shift, full division of money will be distributed.
  13. Reduced rake games are eligible for Jackpot as long as a Jackpot rake is being taken and all other Jackpot requirements are met.
  14. Any money not claimed after 7 Days will be returned to the Progressive pool.
  15. Management reserves the right to change or cancel at any time.

Grand Poker Rewards Rules

Players are responsible for presenting Infinity Rewards card to Poker Supervisor or Manager at the start and finish of each live session. No time will be added to players leaving the poker room without logging out with Supervisor or Manager. Players lobbying for more than ten (10) minutes will be logged out. It is the player’s responsibility to log back in after lobbying for more than ten (10) minutes. Players will no longer earn comp time for Tournament play.
