#NationalSandwichDay

It’s National Sandwich Day and we thought we would salute some of our favorites from a few of our restaurants. We scoured the menu’s, ordered up a selection and here are the 4 sandwiches you need to eat at GSR.

1. Pork Pupusas at Cantina

While not a traditional sandwich, this Latin style is abounding with flavor and melty goodness. A traditional style filled with Pork and Queso Fresco and topped off with pickled cabbage - we think this sandwich will have you saying, “Sí, Sí, Sí!”

2. Knife and Fork Short Rib Sandwich at Grand Café

Dig in deep with this manly sandwich. Use your knife and fork to slice through the artisan bread stuffed with copious amounts of slow braised short rib and julienned vegetables. It’s beefy enough for a growing boy and tasty enough for the aristocrat looking for a sophisticated take on a country favorite.

3. French Dip at Grand Café

This classic sandwich is jam packed full of flavor and all the fixings you’d expect – sliced prime rib, Swiss cheese and horseradish cream, Au Jus on the side. It will fill your belly and clear your nose with one meal.

4. Jaw Stretcher at Grand Café

The jaw stretcher will satisfy your cravings but is only available late night. Head over after a night of dancing at LEX or gaming on the casino floor and get your fill with ham, applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cheddar cheese all topped with a fried egg and Thousand Island dressing…this sandwich is definitely worth the late-night trip.

Here you have our 4 favorite sandwiches at GSR. Have you tried these? If so, what did you think? Have a favorite we didn’t mention? Comment below with your suggestions!
