RENO, Nev. (October 1, 2026) – Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) will bring together cold beer, hot chili and live music for the 12th annual Grand Sierra Beer & Chili Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17 at The Pool. Early entry begins at noon, followed by general admission at 1 p.m., with festivities continuing through 6 p.m.
The festival will feature beer tastings from more than two dozen local, regional and national craft beer favorites alongside chili samples and menu specialties from GSR restaurants. Guests can vote for their favorite chili to earn the People’s Choice title, which includes a charitable donation, cash prize and trophy.
Live entertainment will run throughout the afternoon, beginning with Covertones from noon to 1 p.m., followed by The Heidi Incident from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. ’90s alternative cover band Total Recall takes the stage from 2:45 to 4:30 p.m., with DJ Teddy P closing out the festival from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Early bird pricing is available through Saturday, Oct. 3. Early-entry ticket holders may enter beginning at noon, one hour before general admission. All unlimited tasting packages include a commemorative tasting mug.
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit the Reno Rodeo Foundation. The event is open to guests 21 and older.
