RENO, Nev. (June 21, 2022) – The provocative alt-metal band In This Moment will perform with Nothing More, Sleep Token and Cherry Bombs delivering an eclectic mix of visual and auditory grandeur to the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 6 p.m.

Tickets for In This Moment at GSR go on sale Friday, June 24 at 10 a.m. and start at $39.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Infinity Rewards members will have access to presale beginning Thursday, June 23 from 10 a.m. PT through 10 p.m. PT. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit grandsierraresort.com or call 1-800-648-3568.

Defined by their ornate, ritual-like performances accompanied by ear-shattering vocals and melodic riffs, In This Moment transcends the ordinary metal show and delivers an unforgettable artistic experience. The Los Angeles-based group formed after lead vocalist Maria Brink crossed paths with guitarist Chris Howorth. Fueled by a reverence for the divine feminine, Brink infuses tracks with raw and painfully personal lyricism delivered via heavy screams and hypnotic melodies.

Their 2007 debut album “Beautiful Tragedy,” featured high-performing singles such as “Daddy’s Falling Angel” and cemented In This Moment as a metalcore cult favorite. After developing a reputation for their heavy sound and enigmatic performances, the group released “Ritual,” a concept album based on the Salem witch trials. The album features the band’s highest charting single to date, “Oh Lord,” which peaked at No. 6 on the Top Mainstream Rock Charts. Their 2020 single “The In-Between” was nominated for Best Metal Performance at the Grammy Awards, preceding the release of their newest album “Mother.”

Joining In This Moment as the supporting band is another rock stronghold: Nothing More. Wielding a blend of progressive rock and heavy metal, Nothing More delivers energetic performances that often involve elaborate animated structures built from scrap metal and salvaged auto parts. The group has repeatedly landed on Billboard charts and has accumulated multiple Grammy nominations off their album “The Stories We Tell Ourselves.”

The anonymous collective of masked musicians known as Sleep Token will open the show alongside Cherry Bombs – a female rock group known for synthesizing stunning aerials with heavy-hitting vocals and instrumentals. Doors open at 5 p.m.
