Formed in Long Beach in 1988, Sublime released their debut album “40oz. to Freedom” in 1992 to mild success but has gone on to become a multi-platinum seller over the years thanks to the blend of Jamaican music, ska and hardcore punk. The band followed with their second album “Robbin the Hood” in 1994 but found major success in their self-titled third album in 1996. Sublime has gone on to sell over 17 million albums worldwide with songs like “What I Got,” “Doin’ Time” and “Santeria” all in constant radio rotation across the globe.

Sublime’s final performance was in the spring of 1996 just before the death of original singer Bradley Nowell. In 2008, surviving members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson were introduced to Rome Ramirez. The trio performed a handful of jam sessions and impromptu shows playing Sublime favorites before officially dubbing themselves Sublime with Rome. The newly named trio released their debut album “Yours Truly” in 2011 with the song “Panic” reaching No. 4 on Billboard’s Alternative charts. Later that year, Gaugh left the band and was replaced by Josh Freese for the group’s second album, “Sirens” in 2015. A third lineup change occurred when Freese left and Carlos Verdugo joined the group for “Blessings” in 2019. Doors open at 7 p.m.
