Alan Parsons To Perform at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, Friday, March 22

RENO, Nev. (January 29, 2024) – British audio engineer, producer and musician Alan Parsons will perform at Grand Sierra Resort’s (GSR) acclaimed Grand Theatre on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for Alan Parsons at GSR go on sale Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. PT and start at $29.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Parsons gained prominence for his groundbreaking work as the audio engineer on Pink Floyd's seminal album “The Dark Side of the Moon” (1973). His meticulous and innovative approach to sound engineering played a pivotal role in the album's success and established him as a respected figure in the music industry. Parsons was also the sound engineer The Beatles “Abbey Road” (1969) and “Let It Be” (1970).

Following his success with Pink Floyd, Parsons embarked on a solo career and formed The Alan Parsons Project with songwriter Eric Woolfson in 1975. The project, known for its progressive rock sound and concept albums, produced a string of hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Notable albums include “Tales of Mystery and Imagination” (1976), “Eye in the Sky” (1982) and “Ammonia Avenue” (1984).

In addition to his work with The Alan Parsons Project, Parsons continued his prolific career as a producer and engineer for various artists, contributing to albums by acts such as Al Stewart and Pilot. His expertise in blending technical precision with artistic creativity made him a sought-after collaborator in the studio. Beyond music production, Parsons has also explored multimedia ventures, including film scoring and technology-related projects.
