Known for his hilarious stand-up comedy, Mike Epps has become a household name in the entertainment industry thanks to his quick wit, impeccable timing and contagious energy. Epps' knack for comedy was encouraged by his parents, leading to stand-up gigs as a teenager and a job at the Comedy Act Theater in Atlanta.
His break came in 1995 when he appeared on the “Def Comedy Jam,” going on tour and appearing on HBO's broadcasts of the various performances. Breaking into acting shortly after his comedy career took off, Epps has since landed a series of successful roles in films including “How High” alongside rappers Method Man and Redman, “Next Friday” and its sequel with rapper Ice Cube, the “Resident Evil” film franchise and “The Hangover” franchise. He has also appeared on TV screens with shows like “Survivor’s Remorse” on his way to becoming a familiar face to audiences everywhere. Epps has filmed four Netflix specials, adding pop culture and current events to his list of targets during his side-splitting stand-up act. Doors open at 7 p.m.
