Formed in Issaquah, Wash., Modest Mouse rose to prominence with their unconventional song structures, sharp lyricism and unique arrangements. Fronted by singer, songwriter and guitarist Isaac Brock, the band built a passionate following in the indie music scene with early releases including their debut album “This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About” (1996) and “The Lonesome Crowded West” (1997), two albums now considered seminal works in modern rock.

The band's 2004 breakthrough album, “Good News for People Who Love Bad News,” propelled them into the mainstream with the smash hit “Float On,” earning them a Grammy nomination and widespread critical acclaim. They followed with “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank” (2007), which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and have continued to push boundaries with each release, including their most recent album “The Golden Casket” (2021). Modest Mouse’s influential sound and electrifying live shows have made them a staple of indie rock for over three decades. The band’s ability to evolve while staying true to their experimental roots has cemented their legacy as one of alternative music’s most enduring acts.

Joining Modest Mouse for the evening is rising indie rock outfit Friko. Hailing from Chicago, the trio has quickly gained attention for their emotionally charged performances and dynamic blend of post-punk and chamber-pop. With their raw sound and introspective songwriting, Friko has made a lasting impression on audiences nationwide. Doors open at 7 p.m.
