Known for his unpredictable energy and on-the-fly music production, Marc Rebillet — also known as “Loop Daddy” — has cultivated a devoted cult following through his viral YouTube videos, electrifying livestreams and wildly original performances. Rebillet first gained unexpected internet fame in 2007, when a local news segment captured him camping outside an Apple Store in Dallas to be first in line for the debut iPhone, only for a woman to pay him $800 for his spot. Years later, he channeled that same quirky charisma into music, improvising funky, off-the-cuff songs from his bedroom using a loop station, keyboard and microphone. His spontaneous blend of electronic grooves, soulful hooks and comedic flair quickly exploded online, earning him millions of views and a reputation as a must-see live act.
Rebillet began uploading music under the moniker “leae,” releasing three projects: “Pod 314” (2012), “Rattlebrain EP” (2013) and “week | ep” (2013). In 2018, he released his self-titled album, quickly followed by “Europe” (2019) and “Loop Daddy III” (2020). During this period, he grew from performing in small Dallas bars to headlining large venues around the world. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rebillet embraced his out-of-the-box thinking to pivot toward livestreamed concerts on Twitch, as well as a nationwide “drive-in concert tour,” where fans attended shows at drive-in theaters and tuned in via local radio frequency. His energetic, improvised performances and loyal online following have helped him sell out venues across the United States and Europe, earning acclaim for their unique mix of musicality and absurdity. Doors open at 7 p.m.
