Born and raised on Chicago’s South Side, Chance the Rapper emerged as one of the defining voices of modern hip-hop through his genre-blending sound and introspective lyricism. Since the release of his breakout mixtape “Acid Rap” in 2013, Chance has earned critical acclaim for combining elements of hip-hop, gospel, jazz and soul into a sound uniquely his own while remaining independent from major label backing.

Released in 2016, “Coloring Book” was the first mixtape to chart on the US Billboard 200 solely on streams, peaking at No. 8. The project earned widespread acclaim from critics and earned Chance three Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album, becoming the first streaming-only album to win a Grammy. Supported by beloved tracks such as “No Problem,” “Blessings,”  and “All We Got,” the “Coloring Book” is celebrated for its joyful spirit, gospel influences and deeply personal storytelling, while breaking the ceiling for independent musicians in the streaming era.

Over the course of his career, Chance the Rapper has collaborated with an impressive range of artists including Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Childish Gambino and Cardi B, showcasing his versatility across genres and generations. In addition to his musical success, Chance has become widely recognized for his philanthropic efforts and advocacy work in his hometown of Chicago, supporting education, arts programs and youth initiatives through his charitable organization SocialWorks.

The “Coloring Book 10 Year Anniversary Tour” promises a celebration of one of hip-hop’s most beloved projects. Doors open at 7 p.m.
