Coach Alford Basketball Show Returns to GSR for 2025–26 Season

RENO, Nev. (Dec. 2, 2025) – Fans are invited to join Nevada Men’s Basketball and Head Coach Steve Alford at Chickie’s & Pete’s Crab House and Sports Bar located inside the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. for the first episode of the 2025–26 Coach Alford Basketball Show.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Alford back to Chickie’s & Pete’s here at Grand Sierra Resort,” said Christopher Abraham, Chief Marketing Officer at GSR. “Wolf Pack basketball brings people together, and we’re honored that GSR can play a small role in that experience throughout the season.”

There will be 12 one-hour shows throughout the 2025–26 season, with the final episode scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, just three days before Nevada’s regular-season finale against Air Force on March 7. Coach Alford will be joined on the show by members of his staff and players throughout the season.

The show will be broadcast live on KNEV 95.5 FM and through the Varsity Network app for any Wolf Pack fans who are unable to make it to GSR to see the show in person.

Nevada Basketball is off to a great start with a 5-3 record on the season so far. The Pack are set to return to Lawlor on Tuesday, Dec. 2, one day before the Coach Alford Basketball Show’s first episode.
