RENO, Nev. (July 21, 2026) – Grand Sierra Resort announces Marcus King Band will bring its acclaimed blend of Southern rock, blues, soul and Americana to the Grand Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. as a part of the “Darling Blue Pt. 2 Tour”.

Led by Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist Marcus King, Marcus King Band has built a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in modern roots music. Blending soaring guitar work with deeply personal songwriting, the band draws from blues, rock, soul and country traditions while delivering powerful performances that have captivated audiences around the world.

A fourth-generation musician from Greenville, South Carolina, King began performing alongside his father at an early age before forming the Marcus King Band in 2013. Since then, he has earned widespread acclaim through a series of celebrated albums and relentless touring, sharing stages with artists including Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. His solo career has further showcased his distinctive voice and songwriting, earning a Grammy nomination for "El Dorado," produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.

Marcus King Band continues to evolve while remaining rooted in the soulful musicianship and heartfelt storytelling that first established its devoted following.
