Singer-songwriter, actor and television personality Ray J is making his way to LEX Nightclub on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10 p.m.
Kicking off his career as a child actor on “The Sinbad Show” in 1993, Ray J subsequently scored additional roles on “The Enemy Within” opposite Forest Whitaker and Tim Reid’s silver screen drama “Once Upon a Time…When We Were Colored.” The R&B vocalist was able to propagate a successful music career following the release of his debut album “Everything You Want” in 1997, which peaked at No. 56 on US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Albums chart. Since then, Ray J has released four more albums and a string of successful singles. The dynamic performer competed in the nineteenth season of “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2017 and currently stars in the VH1 reality television series “Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood.”
Vive Fridays
Start the weekend off right with Vive Fridays at LEX Nightclub. Popular DJs will be spinning today’s hottest Cumbia, Salsa, Bachata and Reggaetón with some classic hits and dance favorites sprinkled in.
Vive Fridays will take over the dancefloor every Friday – doors open at 7 p.m. with beginner-friendly lessons by Gerson Chaves of Tiempo Latin Dance Company starting at 7:30 p.m. The party will continue at 10 p.m. when the nightclub doors open and Latin and top 40 hits play until last call. Admission is free before 7:30 p.m., $5 from 7:30 to 10 p.m., and $10 after 10 p.m.
Guests can also stop by Uno Más, GSR’s signature Mexican eatery, to take advantage of the two-for-one margarita special every Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight – the perfect complement to a night of Latin dancing at Vive Fridays.
