Milky Chance to perform at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, Wednesday, Aug. 16

RENO, Nev. (Feb. 15, 2023) – Revered for fusing laid-back pop, reggae and electronic sounds, German rock band Milky Chance is set to perform at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for Milky Chance at GSR go on sale Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. PT and start at $29.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Infinity Rewards members will have access to presale beginning Thursday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. PT through 10 p.m. PT. Best known for their star-making debut single “Stolen Dance,” Milky Chance consists of singer/songwriter Clemens Rehbein and DJ Philipp Dausch. The duo first met in an advanced course while in high school in Kassel, Germany and released their full-length debut, “Sadnecessary,” with Lichtdicht Records in 2013. The album enjoyed success on German charts and the Billboard Top 200, and the catchy single “Stolen Dance” catapulted Milky Chance into stardom, eventually hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart.

In the years that followed, the group released three critically acclaimed records, including “Blossom,” “Mind the Moon” and “Trip Tape,” which features a mix of originals, covers, demos and remixes. The globe-trotting duo has headlined concerts across the globe and racked up more than five billion streams during their prolific career. Milky Chance has performed on nearly every late night television show and played at an array of legendary festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits. The group’s latest release, “Trip Tape II,” proved to be another fan favorite with the hit single “Troubled Man.” Doors open at 7 p.m.
