RENO, Nev. (March 21, 2023) – Easter is just around the corner, and the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) is celebrating with amazing dining specials made to delight taste buds at Charlie Palmer Steak Reno and The Grand Buffet.
Charlie Palmer Steak
Charlie Palmer Steak will serve an Easter dinner offering a selection of delectable dishes. To start the night off, guests can choose from two flavorful appetizers. The first is a mushroom toast made with freshly toasted bread topped with hen of the woods mushrooms, garlic, chives, whipped ricotta and a sunny-side egg. Guests who prefer seafood can enjoy crab panzanella, made with fresh Dungeness crab, red onions and ripe cherry tomatoes, tossed in a Meyer lemon vinaigrette.
The main course offers two incredible entrées to choose from. First is a duck duo featuring a seared duck breast à l’orange and duck confit accompanied by a sweet orange sauce and a huckleberry gastrique, and served with wild rice. The second dish is a pan roasted lamb loin served with caponata, fava bean puree and an herb salad.
To end the night, guests will indulge in a carrot cake cheesecake made with a creamy cheesecake infused with the flavors of fresh carrots and spices served topped with candied pecans and a rum caramel sauce.
The Easter menu at Charlie Palmer Steak is available on April 9 from 4 to 9 p.m. starting at $85 per person.
The Grand Buffet
Feast on the finest selection of Easter favorites at The Grand Buffet. This holiday menu features classics like juicy prime rib, a succulent honey glazed ham and tender lemon garlic crusted leg of lamb. Guests can also enjoy coq au vin served with perfectly cooked chicken and a rich, savory wine sauce.
Seafood lovers will enjoy baked salmon served with a delicious lobster sauce, a poke bar with fresh tuna and salmon, snow crab, shrimp cocktail and mussels that is sure to satisfy any craving.
For guests with a sweet tooth, The Grand Buffet will feature a create-your-own crepe station that includes a selection of mouth-watering toppings, berries, whipped cream and more.
