The partnership kicks off on Thursday, March 30 featuring Tyler Rich
RENO, Nev. (March 22, 2023) – LEX Nightclub will transform into a boot scootin’ paradise every Thursday at 7 p.m. during “Boots & Daisy Dukes,'' a western-themed night complete with line dancing, a country DJ and monthly country artist acts. “Boots & Daisy Dukes” is presented in association with Night in the Country (NITC) as part of the festival’s Night in the City concert series.
LEX Nightclub and NITC will kick off “Boots & Daisy Dukes” on Thursday, March 30 with a live performance by up-and-coming country artist Tyler Rich. Tickets are on sale now and start at $20, plus additional taxes and fees. Cowboy hats, ball caps, boots and western wear is allowed and encouraged. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Northern California-raised, Nashville-rooted Tyler Rich grew up listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival and holiday classics – his passion for music soon spurred a full-blown career. After moving to Los Angeles, Rich explored a variety of genres, songwriting techniques and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist. Since then, he has been named a 2018 CMT Listen Up artist and a 2019 Pandora Artist with Rolling Stone touting him as “the newest member of country music’s radio-minded incoming class, with a homecoming king’s swagger and a valedictorian’s songwriting smarts.”
His debut album “Two Thousand Miles” amassed over 394.4 million global streams and featured the Gold-certified single “The Difference.” Subsequent releases include “Better Than You’re Used To” and The Cadillac Three’s Jarden Johnston-produced “A Little Bit of You.” The versatile artist has also worked with Canada's most successful bilingual singer-songwriters, Marie-Mai, to release an English and French duet, “Thinkin’ We’re In Love.” Rich’s music demonstrates pop sensibility while simultaneously embodying the universal desire for acceptance with romantic, introspective lyrics that make for a truly authentic live performance.
