RENO, Nev. (September 2, 2026) – Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) is offering Washoe County firefighters and first responders two free tickets to see Rock & Roll Hall of Fame musician and The Who lead singer Roger Daltrey live Saturday, Sept. 5, in appreciation of their work responding to a recent string of fires across the region. A block of 200 tickets has been set aside for firefighters and first responders.
“We’re grateful for the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way to protect our community,” said Christopher Abraham, Chief Marketing Officer at Grand Sierra Resort. “With the recent fires we’ve seen throughout the area, we wanted to find a way to show our appreciation and give local firefighters an opportunity to take a break, enjoy a great show and know that our community stands behind them.”
Eligible Washoe County firefighters and first responders can claim two free tickets to the Roger Daltrey show by using the promotional code FIRST026 at the Grand Theatre box office before Saturday, Sep. 5th at 6 p.m. To redeem the offer, guests will be required to provide proof of current employment, such as a valid department identification card or other official employment verification.
