RENO, Nev. (August 28, 2026) – Following the debut of Street Heat in 2026, Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) will bring the classic car and concert festival back to Reno Tuesday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 7, 2027.
Building on its first year at GSR, Street Heat will once again bring classic car enthusiasts together for a multi-day celebration featuring vintage automobiles, live entertainment and a variety of experiences throughout the resort. Registration for participating vehicles will be $55, with additional event details to be announced at a later date. Early bird hotel discounts will also be available.
“Street Heat was created to give classic car enthusiasts another reason to make GSR part of their Reno experience, and we’re excited to bring it back for a second year,” said Christopher Abraham, Chief Marketing Officer at GSR. “We look forward to building on last year’s event and welcoming car fans, families and visitors back to the resort for another great week of cars, music and entertainment.”
The 2027 event will feature a multi-format classic car show showcasing vintage automobiles, along with opportunities for enthusiasts and spectators to experience the vehicles throughout the resort. In addition, the famous $10,000 Cherry Show-n-Shine event will return, alongside live concerts, with the 2027 entertainment lineup to be announced at a later date.
Details on vendors, event programming, concert acts, vehicle registration and other Street Heat experiences will be announced in the coming months.
