RENO, Nev. (September 21, 2026) – Minneapolis hip-hop duo Atmosphere will bring more than three decades of music to Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) on Friday, Jan. 29, 2027, with a 7 p.m. performance at the Grand Theatre.

Comprised of rapper Slug and producer Ant, Atmosphere has been a mainstay of independent and underground hip-hop since the 1990s. The duo is known for Slug’s candid, narrative-driven lyrics paired with Ant’s production drawing from soul, funk, rock, reggae and classic hip-hop, creating a catalog that includes fan favorites such as “Sunshine,” “Yesterday,” “The Best Day” and “GodLovesUgly.”
Atmosphere marked 30 years of music in 2025 with the career-spanning collection “Triple X Years in the Game” and continued its prolific run with “Jestures,” a 26-track album built around songs progressing alphabetically from A to Z. The duo has remained active on the road and in the studio, releasing new music and videos throughout 2026. Doors open at 6 p.m.
