Keith Sweat to take the stage at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, Friday, November 26, 2021

RENO, Nev. (Aug. 2, 2021) – Legendary R&B icon Keith Sweat will perform at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021. The platinum-selling singer and national radio personality will perform a variety of his notable hits at Reno’s acclaimed Grand Theatre at 8 p.m.

Tickets for Keith Sweat at GSR go on sale Friday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. and start at $39.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Harlem born Keith Sweat started as the lead singer in local band Jamilah in 1975. After leaving the group in 1984 to begin a solo career, he landed a recording contract with the independent label Stadium Records, and in 1987 signed to Vintertainment Records where he released his debut album, “Make It Last Forever,” which sold over three million copies. The biggest hit from this album was "I Want Her" - the song that inaugurated the New Jack Swing era. To date, he has released 13 solo albums and two as a part of the R&B supergroup LSG.

Sweat continues to host The Sweat Hotel, the #1 nationally syndicated R&B nighttime radio show, which can be heard by nearly three million monthly listeners on more than 60 stations in major markets, including Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Tampa, St. Louis, Las Vegas, Norfolk and New Orleans. In May 2020, Sweat launched a live, weekly R&B music concert series to celebrate Black Music Month. Millions of people tuned in "Keith Sweat Presents Sweat Hotel LIVE," which was made available on The Sweat Hotel and KSweatLive.com.
