RENO, Nev. (September 28, 2026) – Grammy-winning roots band The Mavericks will bring The Mavericks & Friends to Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) on Friday, Feb. 19, 2027, at 8 p.m., celebrating the band’s three-decade catalog and the legacy of longtime frontman Raul Malo.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. PT and start at $29.50, plus taxes and fees. For three decades, The Mavericks built a Grammy-winning career under Malo’s leadership, developing a distinctive sound that crossed genres and generations. His unmistakable voice helped turn songs including “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down” and “Back in Your Arms Again” into staples of American roots music. When Malo’s battle with cancer took him off the road in 2025, his bandmates honored him with a sold-out performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium during his final hours.
The celebration continues with The Mavericks & Friends, featuring Paul Deakin, Robert Reynolds, Eddie Perez and Jerry Dale McFadden alongside rotating guest vocalists. Bringing together members from the band’s past and present lineups, the evolving live show draws from The Mavericks’ catalog while honoring Malo’s impact and carrying the band’s music into a new chapter.
