RENO, Nev. (August 24, 2026) – Grand Sierra Resort announces Canadian rock group Triumph will take the stage at the Grand Theatre on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. with support from April Wine.

Formed in Toronto in the 1970s, Triumph rose to international prominence with enduring hits, including “Lay It on the Line,” “Magic Power,” “Fight the Good Fight,” “Hold On” and “Never Surrender,” showcasing the band’s distinctive guitar work, powerful drumming and unmistakable vocals.
Throughout its career, Triumph has earned a reputation for combining musicianship with elaborate production, powerful visuals and the kind of larger-than-life energy that defined the golden age of arena rock. Its influence can be heard across generations of rock musicians, while its signature songs continue to receive radio airplay.
Joining Triumph is April Wine, the legendary Canadian rock band whose career spans more than five decades. Formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the late 1960s and went on to become one of Canada’s most enduring rock acts known for hard-driving guitars, infectious melodies and hits including “Just Between You and Me,” “You Could Have Been a Lady,” “Roller,” “I Like to Rock” and “Sign of the Gypsy Queen.” Doors open at 7 p.m.
