Ranked in the top five of Rolling Stone’s list of “100 Greatest Guitarists,” Beck is revered for his innovative playing style and brazen personality. The English rocker’s winding career traces back to 1965 when he assumed the role of lead guitarist for The Yardbirds after Eric Clapton’s departure. During his brief time with the iconic band, Beck managed to broaden the boundaries of electric guitar with his explorations of reverb, fuzz tone and distortion, ultimately proving to be a pioneer of psychedelic rock. In 1967, he formed the Jeff Beck Group with vocalist Rod Stewart and began defining heavy rock with his signature Stratocaster tone and intricate compositions. After a period of calm, Beck released the mostly instrumental album “Blow by Blow,” which peaked at No. 4 on the American Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

From jazz-fusion, to classic blues, to pop, Beck’s artistry has influenced nearly every facet of music. His impressive collection of accolades speaks to his visionary talent – he has been inducted been inducted twice in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame as a Yardbird member and as a solo artist and has racked up a total of eight Grammy awards in the categories of Best Rock Instrumental Performance and Best Pop Instrumental Performance. Guests are sure to receive a masterclass in guitar from one of music’s most colorful characters. Doors open at 7 p.m.
