RENO, Nev. (August 19, 2025) – Cold beer and hot chili come together once again at the fan-favorite Beer & Chili Festival, returning to Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) on Saturday, Oct. 18. Early entry starts at noon, with general admission at 1 p.m. The event runs until 6 p.m. and will feature a special awards presentation to crown the day’s top chili and beer.
Now in its 11th year, this annual event will showcase over two dozen local, regional and national craft beer favorites. Alongside these brews, guests can enjoy mouthwatering chili crafted by GSR restaurants and chefs as well as featured menu specialties. Attendees can vote for their favorite beer and chili, with the top brewery and restaurant each earning the “People’s Choice” title, a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice and a trophy for bragging rights.
Guests can also expect live music from ‘90s alternative cover band Total Recall. Plus, DJ Rekoh Suave will be spinning hits throughout the day.
